On the 4th March 2022, one year after the For Alan Turing performance, , Matthew Lee Knowles and I will be releasing our first album, For. It was funded by Kickstarter and was greatly supported before, during and after the making of it. The pieces are in dedication to various people who have influenced/inspired Matthew. Their personalities and joyous charms were incorporated into my interpretation. Many of the pieces were single-takes; mistakes remain as part of the music. I worked with Sam Hobbs from Rebel Elements to mix and enhance these mistakes/nuances, including the specificity of the piano’s resonance in each piece. We added small extras to fully display what was captured in the recording. The pieces were ordered and linked together to enhance their individual natures. They were mastered by Carl Rosamond at RRS to finally lock in and showcase these many layers. Therefore, we recommend you listen to it in full, in order.
